10/10 recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch Thin crust pizza, Very Flavorful and perfect serving size to share with others. Our Waiter ( J.C Navarro) was very helpful, attentive, constantly asking if we needed a refill or missing anything and how we were doing. If we had a request he attended us quickly. Food was brought out all together and hot.

JC Navarro was a great server! He was very attentive and came around himself asking if we needed anything else, constantly. He made my first experience at Johnny Carinos a memorable one and wanting to come back.

My first visit to this restaurant did not receive a 5 star rating for a couple of reasons. First, my companion and I were not allowed to sit at our desired area of the restaurant due to “waitressing issues “ or doubling customers on waitresses. Second, I was unpleasantly surprised with the small lunch portion of 1/2 Johnnys Ribeye Cheesesteak @ $15.99 (please see foto). Lastly, this restaurant is not currently providing the take home lasagna for $6.99 as featured on the menu. The service was great overall and despite visiting during rush hour our food came out delicious and in a reasonable amount of time. I do recommend looking over the menu a couple of times before deciding on a lunch entree.

Went to Johnny Carino’s and honestly, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The chicken sandwich was $13 and smaller than a kids’ Subway sandwich — definitely not worth the price at all. My lasagna came out cold, which is pretty unacceptable for a pasta dish. The spicy chicken and shrimp did taste good, but they were extremely stingy with the chicken. On top of that, we ordered the unlimited soup and salad, and they gave us a hard time when we wanted to try a second soup — which defeats the whole purpose of “unlimited.” What made it worse was the manager’s attitude. He was rude and dismissive, and when my sister tried to explain our concerns, he made us feel like we didn’t know what we were talking about — even though she has worked in the food industry for the past 6 years. Overall, poor food quality, small portions, and terrible customer service. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We recently visited Carino’s here in Laredo, Texas, and wow, what an experience. I’m genuinely glad they’ve reopened because the food was absolutely incredible. Every single dish we tried was packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and honestly exceeded our expectations. You can tell they’re putting real care into what they serve. From start to finish, everything was delicious. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying “this is so good” after every bite. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and it made the whole experience even better. I would’ve added photos of the entrées, but as soon as they hit the table, he started eating. Also, our servers Victor is very dedicated very attentive and made to make sure that we had a great experience and above me. Most importantly, my family and I had an amazing time. It felt like more than just going out to eat. It was one of those memorable nights where everything just comes together perfectly. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to again and again.
